United Way fundraising campaign to kick-off at luncheon in Kemptville

The kick-off to the 2016 United Way fundraising campaign will be a barbecue in three separate communities this year. In Kemptville, the event will happen this Friday at Tallman Truck Centre from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Resource Development Coordinator Crystal Sled says the United Way benefits many local agencies.

There will be a presentation beginning at 12:30pm. The meal is a hot dog or hamburger with chips and a drink for $5. Those funds will be added to the United Way Campaign. This year’s campaign goal will be announced during the luncheon.
