Grenville County OPP are investigating a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian in Prescott. Just before 11pm on July 4th police were called to Edward Street north of King where they found a man lying on the ground. Investigation showed the man had been crossing the the intersection when the vehicle hit him. The vehicle had left the scene to go to the police station. The victim, a 24-year-old Prescott man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, a 22-year-old Prescott man, was not injured. No charges have been laid at this time but the incident remains under investigation.
