A new multi-use pathway is set to be built along County Road 44, linking County Road 43 and Settler’s Trail. Funding has been received by the municipality through the Ontario Municipal Cycling Infrastructure Program. Novatech Engineering is designing the project and construction is expected to start this Fall. The trail will begin at the intersection of County Road 43 and 44 on the east side, and cross over to the west side, near the fire station. There will be a signal crossing for pedestrians. The project is expected to take two years to complete.
