Kayaking for Cancer about to hit huge fundraising milestone

This year’s Kayaking for Cancer event will hit a new milestone. The 16th annual fundraising trip from Kingston to Ottawa will reach the $600,000 mark in funds raised for the Canadian Cancer Society over the years. Founder Kevin Dionne explains how it all began.

Kayakers were in Burritts Rapids for lunch yesterday and camped overnight at Pirate’s Cove Marina. They’ll paddle just passed Manotick tonight and arrive at Dow’s Lake tomorrow afternoon. To donate go to www.kayakingforcancer.com.
