On July 5th, the Leeds & Grenville Committee of the Whole voted in favour of recommending to Council that it make funds available to repair Andrewsville Bridge. The recommendation is to make up to $60,000 available over 12 years and $20,000 available this year to make needed repairs. In 2015 an annual inspection identified stringers that needed replacement. The recommendation is in line with the County of Lanark which voted to make up to $60,000 dollars available if matched by the county of Leeds & Grenville. Both counties share the bridge.
