To celebrate Shakespeare’s 450th birthday, the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival issued a video challenge to High School students. The challenge was to create a 1 minute video with the title “Shakespeare is…”
The competition caught the imagination of schools across the region and the Festival even received entries from 2 elementary schools.
The winning entry was from Jill Foster, who has just graduated from South Grenville District High School. The judge’s verdict was that her video “presented information in an upbeat, entertaining manner, with much enthusiasm”. She wins a prize of $200 plus 4 free tickets to the Festival’s opening night.
