A Cardinal woman is dead after losing control of her 2006 Buick and hitting a tree. Police say the incident was reported around 4pm on June 20th. It happened on County Road 22 near Crowder Road in Edwardsburgh. Deceased is 75-year-old Patricia Burrell of Cardinal. A 79-year-old female passenger has moderate injuries. A post mortem is to be scheduled.
