Local teens open for business with Summer Company Program

Three local kids are looking forward to summer as they launch businesses in the Summer Company Program. The Leeds and Grenville Small Business Enterprise Centre offers the opportunity for hands-on business training, mentoring and up to $3,000 in this competitive program. Connor Laird is starting “Lawns by Laird” and he already has a strong vision on how to make his lawn maintenance business different:

Also in North Grenville, Halle Fraser is launching “Halle’s Technology Solutions” and Alexandra Blockley offers “Beat the Wheat (gluten-free) Treats.”

Blockley will sell her treats at both the Brockville and Kemptville Farmers’ Markets.
