A North GrenvilleĀ couple has been arrested for drug trafficking. Around 5:30am yesterday, the Drug and Biker Enforcement Units of the OPP conducted a search warrant at a residence on McGovern Road. Officers seized cocaine, a switch blade and cash.
Both the 33-year-old man and his 27-year-old wife are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and unauthorized possession of a weapon. The man is also charged with failing to comply with recognizance. He was held in custody awaiting a court appearance. She was released and scheduled to appear in Kemptville court April 5th.
