North Grenville CAO Brian Carre says the results of the pre-budget survey show that many members of the public are taking advantage of the opportunity to engage with municipal staff and council. Carre encourages the public to get involved at regular Committee-of-the-Whole meetings as well.
Carre says it’s important that questions are asked in front of the camera at these public meetings, so that everyone has an opportunity to take part in the discussion.
There is also an opportunity for questions from the public on agenda items at the end of each council meeting. The complete agenda package is posted on the municipal website prior to each meeting.
