Earlier this week Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP responded to complaints of people trespassing on the Nation Valley All-Terrain Vehicle Club trails. Three men were found and charged with trespassing. Police report this continues to be a problem in the area.
The Off Roads Vehicle Act states you must stay off trails when they are marked closed. Currently they are closed for the spring thaw. Also you need the correct trail passes, safety equipment and documentation for your ATV. Failure to follow the rules can lead to your trail rights being revoked, as well as criminal charges.
