Back by popular demand, North Grenville Fire Services will be helping local seniors with light jobs around the house, on Seniors Day in April. Deputy Fire Chief Randy Urslak says seniors should notify the Fire Services office if you could use a little help around the house this spring.
Urslak says you can call and ask for help if you have any jobs that require climbing, like taking down your Christmas lights or lifting, like moving a heavy piece of furniture. While the crew is at your house, they will also check to make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in working order.
Call the Fire Services office at 613-258-2438 extension 4 to put yourself on the list for Seniors Day. It happens Saturday, April 23rd.
