The announcement in March 2014 that Kemptville College would be closing hit the Eastern Ontario agricultural community really hard. It also came as a big disappointment to college alumni and staff, including former Home Economics teacher Janet Stark.
Stark decided she didn’t want the last chapter in the college’s nearly 100-year history to be a sad one. She canvassed college alumni and staff for their memories and anecdotes, and compiled them in “Those Were the Days” – The Kemptville College Memory Book.
