Man confesses to dumping body near Bishops Mills

An Ottawa man has confessed to dumping the body of Deepak Beaudoin-Reichmann near Bishops Mills. Twenty-six-year-old David Lojk was one of three men charged with disposing of the human remains that were found in the rural area last October.

Footage from a surveillance camera shows Lojk and the other two accused carrying a duffel bag out of a Lisgar Street building and loading it into a truck.

Beaudoin-Reichmann, who was reported missing in October by his family in Niagara Falls, had been working in a restaurant in the Byward Market area. He had struggles with mental health and had been treated for substance abuse earlier last year. Sources say he died of a suspected drug overdose.

Lojk also pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and obstruction of a police investigation. He is back in Brockville court March 4th.
