A 20 year old man from Perth is facing multiple weapon and drug charges after a crash on the 416 in North Grenville last Wednesday. A vehicle travelling southbound slid on the ice and collided with a transport trailer. The officer responding to the crash noticed marihuana on the floor and smelled it in the vehicle. The vehicle was searched and police seized magic mushrooms, marihuana, cocaine and brass knuckles. The 20 year old was charged with possession of all 3 drugs for the purpose of trafficking, carrying a concealed weapon and unauthorized possession of a weapon. He’ll appear in Kemptville Court on April 6th.
