Collison death now being treated as a homicide

The case of Winchester man Raymond Arnold Collison, missing since 2009, is now being treated as a homicide. Collision was 58 years old when he was reported missing 5 years ago. In April of this year his body was discovered in a large irrigation ditch north of Winchester. An autopsy confirmed the man was a victim of foul play and DNA testing confirmed his identity. New information says Collison was last seen outside McCloskey’s Hotel in Chesterville in September 2009. He was known to hotel staff. He was working as a handyman and lived in a trailer on a farm a concession away from where his decomposed remains were found. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
