Leeds Grenville MPP Steve Clark will be examining the provincial budget closely this week to see what it means for his riding. Of biggest concern in our area is the sky-high hydro rates, health care cuts, and funding for rural municipalities.
Clark says he wants to see more housing options for the disabled, increased tourism promotion and a rural focus on all provincial legislation before it is passed. The provincial budget is released on Thursday.
