A local man is recovering at home after his pick-up truck collided with a railway plow this morning. The North Grenville Fire Service responded to the Dennison Road crossing just before 7:30am for a reported motor vehicle collision on the railway tracks.
Fire Services and Paramedic Services extricated the driver of the pick-up truck who was transported to hospital in stable condition.
The man says the signal lights did not come on and the crossing arms did not come down, indicating that there was activity on the track.
The OPP and CP Rail are investigating.
