An Iroquois man is being held in custody after threatening his spouse and assaulting a peace officer. On Friday just after 6:00pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry OPP were called to a domestic situation at a home in the village.
Investigation showed a man had threatened his female partner and household pets during an argument. When he was arrested, the accused confronted officers and threatened them as well. The 30-year-old man was charged with three counts of uttering threats and assault of a peace officer.
