35th Annual Guide Dog Ride for Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind

September 11th marks the return of the National Capital Region’s longest running charity motorcycle ride and dice run. The 35th Annual Guide Dog Ride is held in support of Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind and their mission to provide greater freedom and independence to Canadians with the aid of professionally trained guide and mobility assistance dogs.

Registration on the morning of the ride, will be between 9 and 10 am at CGDB’s National Training Centre on Rideau Valley Drive North, in Manotick, and costs $20. Cash and all major cards will be accepted, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Those registering will also have a chance to meet our guide-dogs-in-training!

This year, participants can also register online at guidedogs.ca and collect pledges. Riders who collect $100 or more in pledges earn a custom Guide Dog Ride patch and will be admitted to the dice run for free.

There will be a post-ride BBQ hosted at CGDB, with prizes for ride participants. The BBQ costs an additional $10 per plate and must be paid for ahead of the ride, at the time of registration.

The Guide Dog Ride is a rain or shine event. Individual riders and all brands & clubs are welcome! No pet dogs permitted, please.
