MPP Clark tables motion on water testing

Leeds-Grenville MPP Steve Clark has introduced a motion to relieve rural non-profit organizations from the cost of having their water tested by private laboratories in order to comply with provincial regulations. Clark tabled his motion at the Ontario Legislative Assembly Wednesday in response to concerns raised by numerous Royal Canadian Legion branches, churches, service clubs and other non-profit organizations throughout Leeds-Grenville. The motion tabled by Clark calls on the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care to investigate how the cost can be removed, including having testing done for no charge at a local public health laboratory.
