One of the topics we asked local candidates to speak about was the closure of Kemptville College. NDP candidate Margaret Andrade said Thomas Mulcair is a strong supporter of education and although it is a provincial issue, she would fight to retain the college and its fresh ideas.
NDP candidate Margaret Andrade says the Kemptville College closure is symptomatic of the Harper government, as there hasn’t been enough support of the agriculture industry.
On Monday, October 19th, Margaret Andrade of the NDP will be up against the incumbent PC candidate Gord Brown, the Liberal candidate Mary Jean McFall and the Green Party candidate Lorraine Rekmans.
