Planning continues for this year’s Canada Activities at Riverside Park in Kemptville. July 1st celebrations start at 12:00 noon with the annual Canada day Parade that leaves the B&H parking lot and winds it’s way down Prescott Street to Kemptville College.
At 1:00 everyone is invited to Riverside Park for the Kidz Zone with Bouncy Castles, a Petting Zoo and many traditional games and relay races for the younger Kids. From 2:00 to 4:00 the pool will be open for a free swim (compliments of the Municipality). From 2:00 to 5:00 a battle of the bands competition is being planned. The Keller-Williams Volleyball tournament will take place on site throughout the afternoon. At 6:00 an evening of live entertainment begins and Fireworks end the day at 10:00 pm. Plans are well underway but another $3,500 is required to meet the financial commitments to stage this event. Keep up to date by visiting
