Local Kemptville Resident, Anthony McVeigh, scored the first goal of the game for the Carleton Place Canadians and two goals were added in the second period by McVeigh’s teammates but it wasn’t enough to beat the Yorkton Terriers in the RBC Cup finals. Yorkton scored in overtime after tying the game up in the third period to win the RBC Cup in Vernon, BC over the weekend.
