A 51-year-old man from Spencerville is dead after a motorcycle collision in Prescott. Just after 6pm May 26, police responded to a three-vehicle collision on Edward Street in front of South Grenville District High School. A passenger van was stopped to turn into the school when it was hit from behind by a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown off the bike and hit by a Chevy Cruze travelling in the oncoming direction. He was taken away by ambulance and later pronounced dead. There were no other injuries reported and the investigation is ongoing.
