Ottawa man charged with Kemptville robbery

Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 22 year old Ottawa man in relation to a robbery at a Kemptville convenience store. On May 7th shortly before 10pm a man entered the Quickie Convenience Store on Rideau Street wearing a bandana over his face. The man placed a bag on the counter indicating he wanted something. He left empty handed and the police were called. The O.P.P. Canine Unit and Identification Unit were called to the scene. Investigation led the cops to a Kemptville residence. Shortly before 1am on May 8th, the O.P.P. Emergency Response Team crashed 211 Dodson Street. The suspect was located and arrested in the residence. He is charged with disguise with intent, robbery, failure to comply with a recognizance and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
