Since 2005, Canadian Tire Jumpstart has been helping hundreds of thousands of kids to get off the sidelines and into the game. During the month of May, residents can help by hosting a School Toonie Day, Jumpstart Birthday Party, Community Barbecue, Weekend car wash, or even a Garage sale. Every Dollar raised will be matched by Canadian Tire. Donations are made payable to Kemptville Canadian Tire who in turn lists all donors and forwards the request for matching funds. Jumpstart Day takes place May 31st across Canada. Locally, there will be a BBQ at the Kemptville Canadian Tire Store on Saturday, May 31st from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
