A 13-year-old Notre Dame High School student was rushed to hospital with serious injuries this afternoon when a mechanical door closed on him in the school s gymnasium. Ottawa Police report the student s parents have been notified and are at the hospital. Paramedics transported the boy in distress to the hospital in high priority. The incident is being investigated by the Ministry of Labour.
