The Minister of Training, Colleges and Universitites, Brad Duguid is expected to be in the National Capital Region today. While in Ottawa, he is expected to visit Algonquin College to discuss the future of Kemptville Campus. In a statement released Friday afternoon, Duguid said he was pleased to hear that St. Lawrence College and Algonquin College have responded to requests for solutions to retain programs currently delivered at the Kemptville campus. He also thanked the Kemptville College Renewal Task Force for coming together to work towards ideas and solutions to the challenge. Leeds Grenville MPP Steve Clark invited Duguid to tour Kemptville Campus while he’s in the area; no word on whether Duguid has accepted the invitation.
