Fire Chief Paul Hutt reports the 2014 Help a Seniors Day was a huge success. 30 members divided into 6 teams and visited 43 homes within North Grenville. Firefighters moved heavy objects, cleaned eaves
troughs, washed windows, completed yard work and discussed fire safety with the seniors of our community. Each home received a reusable shopping bag filled with fire safety information and information provided by Kemptville Insurance. Kemptville Insurance generously donated 10 new combination smoke/carbon monoxide alarms to be installed in homes in need.
