Nominations open for 2023 Leeds-Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award

The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership is calling for residents to name their favourite internationally born business owner in the region.

The organization has opened nominations for its ninth annual Leeds-Grenville Immigrant Entrepreneur Award.

The partnership, an organization that helps new immigrants in our area by connecting them with services like employment agencies and English tutors, presents the award every year to commemorate the hard work and dedication of immigrant business owners in our community.

Past winners include Prescott’s Marc-Gomez Segu and Gananoque’s Brodowski family.

Nominees need to have been born outside Canada, live in Leeds-Grenville, and own a business in the region. Nominations are being accepted until September 23rd. The St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership’s social media pages have details for how to make a nomination.
