Construction to prompt rolling lane closures in Winchester

You might experience some traffic delays driving through Winchester this summer.

The Township of North Dundas has announced a series of rolling lane closures coming to County Road 3 in the community, to make space for workers building the new sewer main.

Staff members say the lane closures will be 100 to 200 metres long, starting near the Joel Steele Community Centre and moving towards the St. Lawrence Street intersection over the next few weeks.

Workers will use automated traffic lights and flags to direct drivers.

The first closure is set to begin on Monday, May 15th, and the work is expected to be done by September 1st.
