Members of marginalized groups and minorities living in North Grenville are being encouraged to share their thoughts on the kinds of support they need from the municipality.
Staff members are hosting a public engagement session later this week on “equity, diversity and inclusion,” as the municipality works on developing a strategy for it to ensure it’s meeting the needs of residents.
The meeting is happening on Wednesday, March 1st, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Catered Affairs. You’ll need to sign up in advance to take part, and can find details for how to register on the municipal website.
If you can’t attend that info session, or want another way to give your input, a survey is also running for the next couple of weeks.
You can fill it out online, or pick up a paper copy at the Municipal Centre, North Grenville Public Library, Kemptville Youth Centre, North Grenville Community Living, or Seniors’ Community Services.
The deadline to fill out the survey is March 15th.
