Police officers say some fraudsters have taken to the streets of North Grenville.
According to a post on the OPP’s East Region social media pages, the Grenville County detachment has received reports that scammers are going door-to-door, claiming to offer residents Hydro One rebates.
“Protect yourself by never sharing any personal information,” the post reads.
Officers are also reminding residents to report any suspected scammers to the OPP or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
