Members of the North Grenville Fire Service are thanking residents for their contributions during this year’s Santa Claus Parade.
“With gratitude,” a social media post from the municipality reads, “the North Grenville Fire Service is happy to announce that due to the overwhelming generosity of those who attended the 2022 Santa Claus Parade, a whopping $3,014 was raised and donated to the Kemptville Salvation Army.”
The parade, which was held on Saturday, November 19th, was organized by the Municipality of North Grenville and the Rotary Club of Kemptville, with several other community organizations taking part.
The money is going towards the organization’s food bank, supporting households in the area that struggle with food insecurity.
