CCHL “Winter Showcase” coming to Kemptville January 10th

Six hockey games are coming to the North Grenville Municipal Centre early in the New Year.

The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) has announced that this year’s “Winter Showcase,” an annual event where all twelve of its teams compete in the same building, is coming to Kemptville this season.

The event will see players on the ice at both Municipal Centre rinks, with rink 1 featuring the Smiths Falls Bears against on the Ottawa Junior Senators, the Renfrew Wolves facing the Navan Grads, the Carleton Place Canadians contending with the Kemptville 73’s, and the Hawkesbury Hawks go up against the Rockland Nationals.

Meanwhile, on rink 2, the Pembroke Lumber Kings will face the Cornwall Colts and the Brockville Braves will go up against the Nepean Raiders.

The Winter Showcase is scheduled for January 10th. The first game, between the Bears and the Junior Senators, starts at 12:30 PM. The 73’s hit the ice at 5:30 PM.
