If you need a ride to a voting location for the election next week, the Municipality of North Grenville can help you out.
The Municipality will be offering bus rides free of charge to anyone who wants to vote in person.
The bus being used is the one normally reserved for its accessible transit system, for seniors and disabled people in the community.
In a social media post, staff is asking residents to book a ride before Friday, October 21st, but say same-day bookings will be “accommodated as best as possible.”
“There are no eligibility restrictions, anyone can use the bus service,” the post reads. “The buses will be operating from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.”
Meanwhile, if you’re hoping to vote before Election Day, advance polls are now open at the North Grenville Municipal Centre. They’ll be open until 8:00 PM on Thursday and Friday this week.
