Edwardsburgh-Cardinal: Public and Adult skating coming to Spencerville in early October

With the temperature dropping in the Leeds-Grenville area, the Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal is making preparations for people to get back on the ice.

The township is planning to start its public and adult skating programs at the Spencerville Arena early next month.

Adult skating will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2:00 to 3:30 PM, and on Thursdays from 9:00 to 10:00 AM, starting in the first week of October. Public skating, meanwhile, will be available every Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM starting October 2nd.

Elsewhere in the Township, if you want to hit the ice right away, adult skating is available right now on weekdays from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at the Ingredion Centre in Cardinal. Public skating will be available there Friday evenings starting September 30th.

According to the Township website, both adult and public skating will be completely free at both facilities. You can read more about its recreation programs on the Township of Edwardsburgh-Cardinal website.
