Nominations open for 2022 Leeds-Grenville Warden’s Award

Leeds-Grenville residents have a chance to help a community member get recognized for their impact on the community’s finances.

The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville’s Economic Development Office is accepting nominations for this year’s Bill Thake Memorial Award for Economic Development Leadership.

Also called the Leeds-Grenville Warden’s Award, the trophy is presented annually to someone in the area to commemorate their work to improve their local economy.

Last year’s award was presented to North Grenville resident Cathy Sheppard, a former accountant and member of the municipality’s Chamber of Commerce, and Rideau Lakes resident Ken Watson.
