Kids and young adults interested in organized baseball can now sign up to try for a spot on the Seaway Surge next year.
The Morrisburg baseball organization has opened registration for its 2023 competitive “rep” team tryouts.
Players on a rep team will play competitive baseball against other teams from Ontario. Players between the ages of 8 and 21 years old can sign up for tryouts, and will be divided into teams based on their age.
The Surge organization has also opened registration for its Fall youth baseball season, which is expected to start in mid-September. Players 11 to 17 years old can take part, with four age group divisions.
There’s a $25 fee to sign up for 2023 rep team tryouts, and a $125 fee to take part in the Fall season. People from all across the Leeds-Grenville area, as well as in other nearby communities like North and South Dundas, can play for the organization. You can sign up on the Seaway Surge website.
