Municipality of North Grenville transit survey now live

North Grenville residents who aren’t able to attend the upcoming public transit information session now have a different way to voice their thoughts.

The municipality has launched a survey as part of its ongoing public transportation study. According to municipal staff, the study is meant to reassess the current transit service, which is only available for people with disabilities and seniors.

“The Municipality is now looking to see how the service can potentially be expanded to get people from a variety of ages and stages of life to where they need to go,” says Mayor Nancy Peckford. “In the absence of any privately run taxi services in the community, this is a crucial discussion about how we support seniors, youth and other vulnerable sectors.”

You can find a link to fill out the survey online on the Municipality of North Grenville’s website. If you’d prefer to fill out a paper copy, those are also available at the North Grenville Public Library, Kemptville Youth Centre, and Seniors’ Community Services.
