The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is organizing a group of residents to handle campaign finance audit requests for the upcoming municipal election.
Applications are now being accepted to join the “Leeds-Grenville 2022 Election Compliance Audit Committee,” which will be in charge of dealing with those requests for this year’s election, as well as any by-elections that happen from now until November of 2026.
Six people will be on the committee: three voting members, and three more to replace those voting members if they need to. People with backgrounds in law, finance, and administration are being encouraged to apply.
You can find the application form on the United Counties website, and drop it off at the Clerk’s office for your home municipality. Applicants are also being asked to attach a resume.
Applications are being accepted until July 22nd.
