Construction expert joins Dundas Manor Board of Directors

The team at the Dundas Manor long-term care home is bringing on a new member as preparations continue for its new building.

Gerald Beuman, a project manager in the construction industry for nearly 45 years, has joined the Manor’s Board of Directors.

Beuman’s family is originally from Winchester, and his mother used to volunteer at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.

He’s worked on similar projects to the new Manor facility before, including a 155 room retirement home recently built in Ottawa.

“Gerald is a welcome addition to the Board,” says Lisa Little, the Board’s Chair. “He brings experience and expertise that will be so helpful as we continue to plan for the new Dundas Manor.”

Beuman’s excited to get started. “I’m looking forward to learning more and seeing the plans for the new manor,” he says.

Construction on the new building starts next year.
