North Grenville: registration for swim programs opens May 18th

If your child wants to learn how to swim, or is interested in becoming a lifeguard, they’ll have an opportunity to sign up for lessons locally soon.

The Municipality of North Grenville has announced registration for all its swimming programs opens next week.

Most of the programs are returning, but because of what the municipality calls “a shortage of qualified lifeguards,” the number of private lessons being offered has been reduced, and some programs like Aqua Zumba aren’t being offered this year.

Programs that are available include swimming lessons for people of all ages and experience levels, including a “Parent and Tot Club” level for people with babies or toddlers.

Beginner-level lifeguard courses and two competitive swim teams for kids and teenagers are also being offered this year.

To see a full breakdown of what programs are available, the schedules, and how much signing up for them will cost, visit the Municipality of North Grenville website.

Registration opens on May 18th, at 7:00 AM.
