After winning a close final game, the North Dundas Rockets Senior Hockey Club is organizing a party to celebrate winning its league’s championship.
The Rockets held off a comeback from the Gananoque Islanders to win game three of the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League finals in overtime on Saturday. The final score was 7-6.
To commemorate the win, the Rockets are hosting a party at the Chesterville Arena on May 28th. Perth-based musician Boston Levi will be performing live at the event.
Tickets go on sale soon, according to the team. The North Dundas Rockets Senior Hockey Club website will have information on where and how to buy them.
