“I leave the school with a heavy heart”: NGDHS Intermediate Principal on new job

A change in leadership is coming to North Grenville District High School (NGDHS).

In an open letter to students and their families, the school’s Intermediate Principal, Brad O’Neal, says he’s leaving the position.

“It has been a privilege to serve as the Intermediate Principal for the past two and half years and I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing the learning journey with your kids,” O’Neal says. “It is especially meaningful for me, as I had the chance to work with some kids whose parents that I taught when I was a teacher at the “old” NGDHS from 1996-2003.”

O’Neal says his last day is January 31st, after which he’ll be leaving to work at Kemptville’s Oxford-on-Rideau Public School. “ Please know that I leave the school with a heavy heart,” he says, “but am reassured that students will be in good hands, as I move on to my new assignment.”

“I want to sincerely thank the students, staff and parents at NGDHS for making this school the special place it is,” O’Neal concludes. “‘Once a Knight, Always a Knight.’”
