North Grenville receives platinum certification from World Council on City Data

MPP Steve Clark is congratulating the Municipality of North Grenville.

The municipality has received “platinum” certification from the World Council on City Data, a Canadian non-profit founded in 2014 that works to establish international standards for data on city sustainability and other metrics. “Platinum” is the highest level of certification, meaning North Grenville meets at least 87 per cent of the organization’s requirements for reporting data on things like waste management, energy consumption and housing.

“This is wonderful recognition,” says MPP Clark. “It demonstrates the commitment to high-caliber data and data-driven planning, management and governance. This is wonderful news for North Grenville, a sustainable and prosperous community.”
