Mayor Nancy Peckford says you’ll have a bit of extra time to save up for your next water bill.
The municipality has announced that the due date for all water bills in North Grenville has been extended. The extension comes as the North Grenville Municipal Office closes, due to the Ontario government’s new COVID-19 public health regulations.
If you need to get in touch with someone from the municipality, Mayor Peckford says virtual appointments may be available for you. “Staff will be working remotely during the next 21 day period,” she says, “and are committed to serving the public in every way they can.”
In the meantime, the new deadline to pay your water bill is February 1st.
