Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit announces former provincial Conservative leader as keynote speaker

This year’s upcoming Leeds Grenville Economic Development Summit will feature Tim Hudak as the opening keynote address speaker.

Hudak, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), which represents more than 78,000 realtors, will talk about the province’s current housing market, along with taking questions from attendees.

Hudak has been working with OREA since 2016 after 21 years in the Ontario legislature. Since becoming CEO, he and his team have been working on changing the rules governing real estate when it comes to professionalism and consumer protection.

The Summit, which will include presentations and open forums about the local economy, with guests including MP Michael Barrett and MPP Steve Clark, will be held virtually and will run from 9:00 am until 2:30pm on Friday November 19th. More than 200 people attended virtually last year.
