The team behind the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo is preparing for the event’s return next year.
The Ontario Plowmen’s Association, the organizer for the International Plowing Match, has announced volunteer information session dates for its 2022 event in North Grenville.
The last time an International Plowing Match was held was in 2019. A 2020 match was being organized in Lindsay, but had to be postponed to 2021 and eventually cancelled, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2022 event is currently scheduled to last from September 20th to 24th, 2022, and to be held at the former Kemptville Agricultural College campus and farm.
Both information sessions are being held in the North Grenville Municipal Centre. The sessions are scheduled for September 29th and 30th, from 7:00 to 9:00 in the evening. Anyone interested in attending will also need to complete a COVID-19 screening, and present both photo ID and proof that they’re vaccinated against COVID-19.
